Hello, I’m Senne Praczyk (°2003, BE), a visual artist and photographer with a background in photography and visual arts.

My fascination with images didn’t start in a studio, but on the street - with a skateboard and a camera. I photographed friends, movement and fleeting moments. That attention to what is temporary and often overlooked remains at the core of my work today.

From the third year of secondary school onward, I decided to fully commit to photography. I studied Audiovisual Arts before completing a Master’s degree in Visual Arts - Photography at LUCA School of Arts, campus C-mine. Throughout this process, my interest in image, context and meaning continued to develop.

My practice moves across photography, video, installation and experimental image-making techniques. It is rooted in themes of identity, memory and visual culture, often drawing from personal experiences, childhood memories and creative legacies. I combine traditional and experimental approaches, exploring how images can be transformed through different materials, processes and contexts.

Alongside my autonomous practice, I work as a photographer on commissioned projects. These two sides of my practice continuously inform each other: commissioned work sharpens my precision, visual language and ability to respond to different contexts, while autonomous work creates space for experimentation and conceptual development.

Today, I work across a diverse range of photographic, artistic and creative projects. I work at Studio Pieter Stockmans across sales, communications and creative production, while also providing hands-on support to artist Piet Stockmans through the Pieter Stockmans Foundation.

My work has been exhibited at Z33 Hasselt, C-mine Genk, Studio Pieter Stockmans Genk, Vonk Hasselt, De Serre TT-Wijk Hasselt, Kapelhof Bilzen-Hoeselt and Casino Modern Genk. I have also collaborated with organisations and artists including the Association of the Belgian Warrant Holders, Stad Genk, Groovy Tunes and IBE.

I am driven by collaboration, exhibitions and the continuous search for new contexts for image-making.
